Bachelorette party games to keep the party going are a necessity! Finally, it’s here. Not quite the wedding day, but for many, the bachelorette party is even better. Grab hold of your cocktails, rev up a dirty mind, and let’s get at it.
One suggestion we’ve heard over and again from guests is “don’t start off hard.” I’m sure there’s innuendo in there, but what our guests mean is, to ease into the games. Start off with light drinks to get everyone a bit tipsy, then a fun ice-breaker or get-to-know-the-bride-to-be game, and then bring on the dirty games.
We’ve put together an itinerary of games that follows a long line of guest’s bachelorette party suggestions.
The Newlywed Game
The Newlywed Game. Okay, so we all know this one. Have the host of the bachelorette party email the groom-to-be with a list of questions beforehand, or do a video interview with the groom-to-be. Remember most questions are fair game, so it’s okay to get a little dirty here. And if you have the chance, watch a few episodes of the original game show to get an idea.
If the bride and groom match answers, then everyone except the bride drinks. If the bride and groom don’t match answers, then the bride drinks.
Another version has each member of the bachelorette party answer questions, and the bride chooses which person said that answer.
The “Drink If” Game
The “Drink If” game is similar to “never have I ever.” Have the party come up with a long list of drink-ifs such as, “if you’ve ever slept in the same bed as the bride and groom,” or “If you’ve hooked up with someone who shares a name with the groom-to-be.” Though, if someone else hooked up with the groom-to-be maybe keep that question out to keep the tensions down.
The Ring Hunt Dare
The ring hunt dare starts with dozens of plastic rings that someone hides around the house. Anytime someone finds a ring they will find a note with a mini-dare rolled into it. Anytime someone finds a ring they need to complete the mini-dare.
We suggest having this as an open timeframe. Meaning that the host will hide the rings around the house and instead of allotting a time for the game, it starts when guests show up and ends when guests leave.
White Elephant – Sex Toy Edition
The white elephant – sex toy edition – is sure to please… ehem, literally. Each guest brings a wrapped sex toy. Then one by one each person chooses a gift and unwraps it. The next person has the ability to keep what they have or steal a previous person’s toy. If a toy is stolen, then that person chooses a new toy. Of course, the bride is last and has the pick of the litter.
Dirty Minds
Dirty Minds is a fun way to see who has the dirtiest mind in the group. Compile a list of ordinary objects, events, foods, or anything. Each guest then writes a naughty description of the item and the other guests try to guess what the item actually is.
This can be prepped ahead of time with the items and descriptions, but our preference is to have the guests come up with descriptions. Add a little more fun by having everyone guess who wrote the description once the item has been figured out.
