Lake Puckaway’s shoreline is a short walk from Adeline’s House of Cool and Adeline’s private pier and channel access to Lake Puckaway allows guests added convenience to enjoy the lake.
Lake Puckaway (also known as Puckaway Lake) is relatively shallow, with a maximum depth of only 5 feet, and it has a fairly irregular shape with many bays and channels that provide excellent fishing opportunities.
A hard sandy bottom provides excellent swim areas for children. The wealth of game fish will keep all of the family fisherfolk happy. Walleye, northern pike, large & smallmouth bass, muskie, bluegill, crappie, perch, and lake sturgeon are caught. The shallow depths lend themselves to excellent ice fishing; well-bundled ice fishermen arrive the minute there is enough ice to be safe.
In addition to fishing and other water activities, Lake Puckaway is a popular destination for birdwatching, hiking, and other outdoor activities
