For Biking enthusiasts, your scenic adventures start at Adeline’s House of Cool front door on one of Adeline’s bicycles then peddling down Marine Drive around to Parm Street then up to Packaway Road.

At Packaway Road you can go right to reach Grand River Dam (3.5 miles), go straight to Grand River State Wildlife Area [1.6 miles], or turn left to reach Marquette [5 miles]

Biking and Hiking at Adelines House of Cool

For Hiking enthusiasts, Adeline’s House of Cool is a little over one and a half miles, casual from the Grand River Marsh Wildlife Area, a 7,000-acre Wisconsin State park that is home to over 200 species of bird species.

Grand River Marsh Wildlife Area is a recreational park offering hiking trails and the Grand River Marsh, a 7-foot deep 1446-acre lake ideal for fishing, canoeing, and kayaking. Visitors have access to the lake from a public boat landing.

The extensive marshes draw in herons, Osprey, and the Double-crested Cormorant. The Fountain Creek Wet Prairie SNA is a large, low-lying grassland in the basin of the marsh. Wet prairie is uncommon and characterized by prairie cord grass, blue-joint grass, and mountain mint. The property’s bird list includes Sandhill Crane, Northern Harrier, Sedge Wren, Horned Lark, and Bobolink.
