A Dickens of a Christmas

A Dickens of a Christmas in Ripon Wisconsin is one of Adeline’s holiday favorites. The town of Ripon is a leisurely drive from Adeline’s and Ripon’s annual Dickens of a Christmas always provides wonder and amazement for all ages.

December 3, 4, and 5, experience the Victorian era by strolling up and down the streets of Ripon’s downtown historic district. Carolers will also be strolling through the streets spreading holiday cheer.

There is Breakfast with Santa and the Holiday Tour of Homes. Living Windows is the highlight of the festival. Over 20 storefronts are decorated with characters depicting old-time settings.

Other weekend activities include a Gingerbread House Contest and more!

6:30 p.m.
Downtown Ripon
Enjoy this lighted Holiday Parade featuring area floats, musical groups, local businesses, and of course Santa and Mrs. Claus.  In addition, enjoy the many unique shopping opportunities and wonderful dining choices available that night!

Ripon Area Community Theatre presents “A Christmas Carol” Radio Play
7:30 p.m.
Ripon City Hall Council Chambers
Watch a live radio play of the Charles Dickens classic “A Christmas Carol” presented by Ripon Area Community Theatre actors.  Admission for the live performances is $10 per person; children 12 and under are free.  Tickets can be purchased in advance at the courtesy counter at Webster’s Marketplace and at the door. Masks are not required in City Hall but are recommended.  The RACT radio play production of “A Christmas Carol” is sponsored by Fotifi Bank and the Ripon Noon Kiwanis Club. The Friday night performance will be broadcast live on 93.1 FM & AM 1600 The Wave and also on The Ripon Channel’s YouTube page.
